• The legendary upgrade is tailored to turn Halland into a relatively tanky hybrid DD, making her strong at contesting objectives and fighting other DDs. The extra survivability lets her take risky positions that few other DDs would dare try.
  • SI is not recommended simply because you will rarely get to use all 5 repairs on a DD.
  • AFT is not taken as her low gun range can be used as a pseudo escape tool
  • Swirski is a decent captain because of his improved AR skill and the torpedo talent.
  • If you don’t have the Engine boost mod, use ERP.
• UU Halland plays more like a close range gunboat, aggressively taking fights against other spotting DDs to win over early game spotting and objectives. She can easily transition to torping bigger ships while her AA can ward off the occasional CV attack.
  • Improved speed boost combined with throttle juking will let you dodge salvoes and conserve HP
  • Halland’s low gun bloom detection penalty allows her to go dark quickly in certain situations. Playing near your max gun range, or the enemy DD using smoke can let you disengage without having to wait out the 20s shooting detection penalty
