USN CLs (Worcester Line)

• US CLs maximizes firepower and AA while offering respectable 9km radar. Mediocre maneuverability and poor armor makes them a glass cannon.
• US CLs use a fairly standard cruiser build
  • Consumable Specialist and Enhancements are taken to get the most out of her radar
  • AA build are less effective overall, but still fun for trolling CVs. Trade TGG for 4pt AA and Consumable Enhancements for 2pt AA skill
  • If you don't have radar mod, or the ship doesn't have radar, use ERP
  • If you are making a dedicated build for tier 6 and 7 CLs, use IFHE instead of TGG, and replace consumable enhancement with DE.
  • Both Doe brothers and Halsey are very good captains for USN CLs, both due to their improved skills, and Halsey’s talents.
• US CLs excels at close-mid range island gameplay, lobbing shells over islands and burning ships down without being shot back. A well timed radar can catch and destroy DDs, or deny caps if positioned properly. They can also use allied smokes if your DDs are generous. Open water kiting is not their forte, but can still be done in a pinch.
• Applies to Chester, St. Louis, Charleston, Phoenix, Omaha, Marblehead, Rattlehead, Dallas, Helena, Boise, Cleveland, AL Montpelier, Seattle, Worcester and Jacksonville.
