• Z-44 is a torp focused DD unlike the other German DDs, respectable and spammable 12km torps but poor main gun firepower and no hydro
  • Irl Z44 was a Type 1936B Destroyer built by Germany and launched in 1944. She was sunk 5 days after launch by air attack.
• Standard torp DD build
  • Swap RL for SiS if you are confident in predicting enemy DD movements
• Z-44 plays like a typical torpedo DD, though she can also somewhat farm bigger targets thanks to her 32mm HE pen. As usual, focus on spotting and throwing torps at predictable enemies or chokepoints. If you encounter an enemy DD, try to draw them towards your allies to even the fight. Baiting them into a stern chase can also even the odds.
