Barfleur
- Tier 9 British torpedo DD that trades guns for stronger 12km torpedoes. Also uses a loading mechanic where 1 torp rack is reloaded at a time.
- Standard torp DD build
- Swap RL for SiS if you are confident in predicting enemy DD movements
- Barfleur plays like a typical torpedo DD, with the advantage of single fire torps to counter stationary targets. As usual, focus on spotting and throwing torps at predictable enemies or chokepoints. If you encounter an enemy DD, try to draw them towards your allies to even the fight. Baiting them into a stern chase can also even the odds.
- Barfleur uniquely has an all-forward gun armament. Which is unfortunate in a DD fight since you want to kite away instead. In some situations, you can go bow in and dodge shots as you whittle down the enemy DD’s HP.
- Remember you do not have hydro. You will take torps if played carelessly
