Chikuma II, Tone
- Tier 8 Tone and Tier 9 Chikuma II are hybrid cruisers with great concealment and can deliver torps via shipbourne torps or their tactical torpedo floatplanes. Extra heal offsets their poor citadel protection, but their low DPM leaves their guns a lot to be desired.
- Chikuma also has smoke consumables
- This build is tailored around the 2 ships, increasing their firepower to complement their amazing utility
- Tone and Chikuma have 4 repairs by default, which makes speccing into SI for a 5th one pretty redundant. SE is superior for survivability
- If you dislike the idea of HHE and want to maximise your concealment, pick FTT and Swift Fish instead.
- Suzuki is a good pick for her improved SE. Though if you don’t play this ship often, it maybe better to build Suzuki for your other Japanese cruisers
- If you don’t have the Hydro mod, use ERP.
