Surcouf

Surcouf is a unique cruiser submarine, sporting twin 203mm guns and 10 torpedoes on a massive hull. While she doesn’t get homing torps, she gets MBRB for her accurate cruiser guns, speed boost, ASW airstrikes, and even a spotter plane to extend her gun range.

• She gets 4 torps front, and 2x triple torp launchers on the rear. The rear torp launchers can rotate

  • The main gun is mounted in the front, has Elbing accuracy

  As Surcouf spends more time on the surface, her build focuses more on her numerous consumables instead of her battery capacity

  • For a more memey gun focused build, take MBM3 in slot 6 and Aim system in slot 3. Fun to gun down DDs with an increased chance of taking a Colombo SAP salvo to the face

  Surcouf plays kind of like a torpedo DD that can submerge. Use her high surface speed to reposition into ideal torpedo positions. Her guns are situationally useful, ambushing cruiser broadsides with AP or finishing off low health DDs. ASW airstrikes and guns lets her dominate sub fights. Remember you are a sub, so only duke it out on the surface if you are sure only a few enemies will shoot back.
