ZH-1

• ZH-1 is a “German” DD that combines dutch airstrikes with German Hydro. While she has great airstrikes and spammable torpedoes, even lower tier DDs will comfortably outgun her.
  • Historically ZH1 was the lead ship of the Gerard Callenburgh-class destroyer class in the Royal Netherlands Navy. Scuttled during construction, she was salvaged and eventually commissioned into the German Navy as ZH1
• ZH-1 uses the classic torpedo DD build with a slight change to buff her airstrikes
  • Take Prop mod in Slot 4 if you prefer better maneuverability to dodge torps.
  • Swift in Silence is a fine alternative to RL if you are confident in predicting enemy DD movements
  • If you don’t have Engine Boost in slot 2, take ERP instead
• ZH-1 mostly plays like a typical torpedo DD, but with the ability to launch 10km airstrikes. Flood the seas with your torpedoes while targeting stationary ships with your airstrike, all while spotting for your team. Use your concealment and RN short smokes to avoid DD fights. If the fight is inevitable, keep your distance and leverage your superior ballistics. Don’t forget your 5km hydro, it will save you and your team from torps
  • Your airstrikes will pen 32mm armor, BBs and stationary cruisers are ideal targets
