Fiume

• Fiume is a Tier 7 Italian CA is unusual in that she uses HE and AP and carries a unique burst fire gimmic that enhances accuracy and HE penetration
  • Irl Fiume was the 2nd of 4th Zara Class cruisers that served with the Italian Navy during WW2. She was devstruck by Warspite during the Battle of Cape Matapan. Funny enough, Warspire does outspot Fiume in WoWs as well.
• Fuime uses a similar build to the mainline Italian CAs
  • In fact, you can just use the same build as (non-UU) Venezia if you don’t want to train a specific captain
• Fiume plays more like a Spanish cruiser with exhaust smoke. Typical long range kiting cruiser playstyle for most situations. Smart use of burst fire sets her apart from other cruisers. Exhaust smoke hides you when performing risky maneuvers.
  • Burst fire increases her accuracy and HE pen while firing 2 salvoes per burst.
    • Each burst takes ~36s to reload
    • Ideal use includes briefly spotted DDs, broadside cruisers with AP, and when disengaging from combat, whether by range, hiding behind an island, or as a middle finger salvo right before you die
  • Smoke fire penalty is 8.9km
