Baotou

• Tier 9 Baotou is a Pan-Asia light cruiser based off the Tier 10 Nevsky, using the same hull and railguns, but trades gun reload speed for better concealment and powerful deepwater torpedoes. Her combat instructions reloads her consumables, greatly improving her survivability and torpedo output. Unfortunately, she also inherits Nevsky's squishy hull and while having none of the utility.

  • If you prefer to focus more on guns, trade PaP and Fill the Tubes for TGG/Outnumbered
  • Rong brothers are good captains due to improved SE. You can also trade Fill the tubes or PT for his improved DE
• Baotou plays as a kiting cruiser with both strong torps and guns, kind of like Zao. Her torps can shut down large enemy pushes while her long range guns provide consistent damage over the course of the match. Combat instructions can keep your heals going or to keep TRB spamming torps. While your goal is to farm damage, don't pass up opportunities to support your DDs with guns.
  • Baotou can play close up to spam torps, or further away and safely spam guns from a distance. Your optimal fighting distance depends on the situation
