Sete de Setembro

Section 31 of 31

Sete de Setembro

  • Sete de Setembro is a Pan American BB with unique combat instructions that when activated reduces gun reload and consumable reload time. Slow ship speed and gun reload severely hampers her if you can’t fill her CI.
    • Sete de Setembro refers to Brazil’s Independence Day, which is celebrated on Sept 7
  • Sete uses a sniper BB build as her improved heal and DCP compensates for heavy AP’s negative effects
    • GtG is mandatory due to Sete’s 51s base turret traverse
    • You can trade Super-Heavy AP for IRPR for a more tanky BB
    • You can trade DCM1 for Spotter plane mod for longer spotter duration, or use MAM1 if you don’t want to spend extra resources
  • Sete’s playstyle is very similar to the US Vermont BB playstyle. Slow moving dreadnaughts that can devastate enemies if they make 1 mistake. Either play the flank you spawned on, or hang back in mid and look for opportunistic shots. Your primary goal is to fill your CI though damaging the enemy. When the opportunity is right, activate CI to and unleash your rapid firing 406mm enemies to swing the battle.
  • Combat instructions are integral to Sete’s success
    • Each pen/overpen charges the CI by 5%
    • Citadels charge the CI by 50%
    • When active, CI reduces reload by 50% and consumable reload time by 20%
  • Aim for citadels whenever possible, this can be done though targeting squishy ships or broadside enemy BBs. HE is also viable in some situations
  • 90s grace period allows for 1 complete miss before you lose progress
    • Staggering shots is viable if you are in danger of losing progress
  • You can add progress to the next CI while the current one is active
    • Shoot your salvo ~5-10s before the current CI ends.
    • If done correctly, the shells will land just as your CI ends. Adding charge towards your next CI. It can be worth waiting a few seconds to ensure this effect.
