Pan-EU BB line (Thor Line)

• Utility BB line with powerful long range torpedoes, a toggle speed boost, and 10km radar starting at Tier 8. Their small HP pool isn’t great for tanking compared to other BBs
• Standard tank build, though Brisk is highly recommended given their excellent concealment and use of speed boost
  • Take the 2pt AA skill if you don’t think you will need the faster turret traverse
  • Swirski is a good captain, though you probably won’t activate his torpedo talents very often
• Unique Pan EU BB speed boost” (Similar mechanic to Sibir’s heal or US Gunboat DD smoke)
  • Very big speed boost of 20%/25%
  • Can be turned on and off, though there is a cooldown period between uses
  • Limited total duration
• Pan EU BB line can be played similar to kiting cruisers. Stay at range, punish broadside ships with AP, and throw out torps to randomly dev strike DDs. Thor can’t take as much punishment as other BBs. Don’t be afraid to go dark and let the torps do the talking if you take significant damage.
  • Early game radar is typically used more to discourage enemy DDs and subs from spotting you. Unless you position very aggressively, it’s not uncommon to keep all radar charges
  • In the mid-late game, radar becomes a powerful tool when running down DDs or to zone them away so they can’t torp you as easily
  • Thor can also be used for yolo torp rushes where her powerful torpedo salvo can 1-hit KO other ships in high speed drivebys
