KM BBs (Preussen Line)

Tank build

• Standard BB tank build that provides great survivability while improving her main battery. This is the recommended option as a secondary build is outclassed by the Schlieffen and Libertad line
• AA Defense and ASW Expert is useful if you expect to fight a lot of CVs. It’s used more for the cooldown bonus than the actual AA effect
• Grease the Gears is a fine alternative if you don’t like the turret traverse
• Lütjens is decent here due to his improved skills and talents, though you may prioritize him on other tech tree ships
• Nowadays Preussen line are more all-around BBs that leans towards close combat due to hydro, secondaries, and excellent citadel protection. Ideally played at close - mid range depending on the opposition
• If you don’t have the Hydro mod, use DCSM1.
• Applies to Nassau, König Albert, Kaiser, König, Bayern, Prinz Eitel Friedrich, Gneisenau, Scharnhorst, Bismarck, Tirpitz, Friedrich der Große, Pommern, Preußen, Großer Kurfürst and Hannover.

KM BBs

Secondary Build

• This build buffs KM BB secondary armaments as much as possible while sacrificing some concealment. Given the existence of KM BCs and PAm BBs, this build is no longer optimal for maximising win rate. This is more of a casual alternative or for PvE
• Swap MS for CQC if you prefer getting the most out of your main battery. You may also swap ERE for CE if you want to put more emphasis on sneaking into close range.
• If you are feeling extra cocky, you may swap ERE for CQC in order to max out on firepower.
• For PvE modes, swap Conceal module for Ship Consumables Mod 1 in slot 5
• Secondary Preussen can be played similarly to other secondary BBs, find an opening and get in close with your secondaries while you dodge torps with hydro. Be aware that their secondaries are notably weaker than the other secondary lines
• Consider trying the legendary upgrade for the Großer Kurfürst if you have it.
• If you don’t have the Hydro mod, use DCSM1.
• Applies to Scharnhorst 43, Bismarck, Tirpitz, Friedrich der Große, Pommern, Preußen, Großer Kurfürst and Hannover.
