Italian BBs

• SAP slinging BBs with hard hitting shells and an exhaust smoke for escaping focus fire. Slow firing guns and poor long range accuracy encourages them to fight at close - mid range.
  • The premium ships Marco Polo and Ruggiero D. Lauria have accurate shells, but do not have smoke
• This is a standard BB tank build, adapted for IT BBs, that provides great survivability for maximum game impact.
  • Sansonetti is recommended due to his improved Gun Feeder, as well as both his talents. Range is especially important to improving dispersion
  • UU for Colombo remains the best option for Slot 6, decreasing dispersion is just too good. Lepanto takes reload mod instead
• Italian BBs are intended to excel at close-mid range, consistently smashing cruisers and BBs with SAP while threatening AP dev strikes if they show broadside.
  • Italian BBs use Russian BB dispersion. More accurate under ~13km, but becomes much worse past ~14-15km. SAP mitigates this as it almost always penetrates the target anyways
